Ethics of Raw Food
The word ethical is subject to as many different definitions as there are people or organizations that come up with their version of what is ethical. So, while many of us might say there are many good ethical outcomes of the raw and living food lifestyle, not everyone will agree.
The good, moral actions of the raw and living food lifestyle are many. First, a diet that eliminates meat saves animals, water and energy and increases health. A diet that does not cook food saves energy and increases health. A diet that uses only organic food is kinder and gentler to the earth. But, it’s not just about diet. The raw and living food lifestyle embraces veganism in all areas, not just food. This means no animal products are consumed by humans, no leather shoes and no wool coats are worn and no animal fat-based soaps are used.
