Raw Leaders

As with any revolution, the raw food movement has its leaders. The Raw Food Diet Myth describes many of the leaders in the raw and living food movement and provides a historical perspective the raw diet and lifestyle.

Three criteria were used to qualify an individual as a raw food leader. First, the individual had to have contributed something unique the raw food philosophy. Second, the individual had to make a contribution to raw food philosophy through writings. And, third, the individual must continue to have an influence on the raw food movement that is sustained either by teaching, training or pedagogy. For historical and credibility purposes, the book also includes the Essenes and European physicians who created separate, but related practices for a living food lifestyle.

Examples of raw leaders included in The Raw Food Diet Myth are Norman Walker, An Wigmore, Gabriel Cousens, David Wolfe, Victoria Boutenko, Sarma Melngailis, Natalia Rose, among others.

“…an outstanding book for anyone who wants to understand the live-food way of life.”

Dr. Gabriel Cousens
